ABOUT THE 2018 SUMMIT

On November 16 and 17, 2018, the first Higher Education Summit of the Americas was held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. This summit was organized by Laspau, with the collaboration of Jorge Tadeo Lozano University and various entities, such as Microsoft, U-Planner, Territorium, Instructure and the Embassy of the United States in Colombia. In this inaugural summit, Laspau brought together more than 100 leaders and decision makers from higher education institutions, government and the private sector in Latin America and the Caribbean. The main purpose  of the Summit was to promote a space for participatory discussion on key issues for the region.
